It’s a hard thing when the street style you covet the most is usually from across waters. Every time I see a apparel piece I prize, it’s from another country. Where did you get that top? London. Where did you get those shoes? Tokyo. It was starting to get frustrating until one day luck was on my side. A young woman was sporting this sweet sweater and skirt set, which she got in Australia (of course!).

Sass & Bide was the brand… and they just opened a store in Soho. FINALLY! I would be able to get such unique pieces and it would be only be a quick subway trip downtown. When I checked out the store, I was floored by the quality and detail put into every top, blazer, blouse, etc. Each one is a form of art (deco) in its own way, which makes it well worth price.
